The Gulf of Panama is one of the safest places in the world where humpback whales swim to produce new offspring. The average size of an adult individual reaches 15 meters in females and 14 meters in males, and at birth the size of a whale can be up to 3-4 meters in length. In the Gulf of Panama warm waters, free from predators, this is the ideal place for not strong offspring. More than 2000 whales swim to Panama annually, and the chances of seeing them are very high. These amazing creatures can be observed from July to October near the islands of the Las Perlas archipelago, as well as in the Golfo de Chiriqui bay.
