The result is consistently good coffee grown carefully and with great pride on thousands of small family coffee farms across the country. Venezuelan varieties of cocoa are amongst the most aromatic and well flavored of the world. In each of the areas where the Venezuelan cocoa is grown, both the genetic characteristics of the bean and the particular care given in the local handling during its growth and recollection, originate the very distinct quality for which the bean is so well-known.
- Visit the Coffee National Park and enjoy your day in a typical coffee plantation.
- Discover the Colonial Cartagena City, declared as World Heritage by UNESCO.
- Come across the Cocoa and Chocolate planting process in a typical “Cacao Hacienda”.

Day 1. Bogotá.
Arrival to Bogotá. Assistance and transfer to the hotel. Bogotá offers a blend of colonial buildings and new skyscrapers. Is the capital and largest city in Colombia. A melting pot of people from around the country, it is diverse and multicultural. Overnight in Bogotá
Day 2. Bogotá (B).
Breakfast. Visit of Bogotá, Cosmopolitan and modern city that mixes its historical background with the modern era. Discover the historical center, the Bolivar Square, The Primada Cathedral, the National Capitol. The Nariño Palace, the Gold Museum and the Bolivar’s Maison. Return to the hotel and Overnight.
Day 3. Bogotá-Pereira (B).
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take your flight towards Pereira. Arrival and transfer to the “Hacienda “. Visit to the Coffee National Park, This Park was founded by the National Federation of Coffee Growers and the Quindío Committee of Coffee Growers, belongs to the Coffee Culture Park Foundation which is a non-profit organization destined to preserve coffee cultural and historical patrimony in Colombia. They are working to increase the ecotourism of the region. In this park is shown the splendor of Quindío landscapes where you will find all about this magic coffee and history. Overnight in this typical coffee plantation.
Day 4. Coffee Hacienda (B).
Breakfast. Visit Recuca (For its Spanish name: Recorrido por la Cultura Cafetera) Coffee Culture Tour. Located near Calacá, the coffee culture tour offers the process in an interactive, playful and participative way. Activities are developed in a Coffee Farm where you’ll be taken to see all the processes to make the coffee till the last step: the joy of sowing a cup of coffee!. Overnight in the farm.
Day 5. Pereira-Cartagena (B).
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Cartagena and transfer to the hotel. Visit of this colonial city declared by UNESCO as World Heritage. Privileged geographic position, the warm and hospitality of its people, the streets and plazas with the stone walls and the historical and colonial monuments of the city that give an unforgettable experience. Panoramic overview of the city. Overnight.
Day 6. Cartagena-Maracaibo (B).
Breakfast. Morning at leisure to discover walking the colonial city. In the afternoon transfer to the Airport to take the flight to Maracaibo, transfer to the hotel and overnight.
Day 7. Maracaibo-Caracas (B).
Breakfast. Know the oil city in the shores of the Maracaibo Lake the biggest in South America visiting the Boulevard “Paseo Las Ciencias”, located in the center of the city where the old and new exist side by side. Visit the Rafael Urdaneta Park which offers a refreshing respite from the stress of the city with its tranquilizing fountain and Paseo del Lago Park. Without doubt, the most spacious park in Maracaibo where you can walk and enjoy the tropical, balmy breeze as it sweeps off the water. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Caracas. Transfer to the hotel and departure for a panoramic city tour of Caracas through its main Plazas and monuments. Visit the modern and financial zone of Caracas. Ride the Caracas’s cable car, and enjoy the splendorous view of the capital from the Avila Mountain. Have a close look of the Humboldt Hotel, an architectural structure built on the highest point of the Mountain. From this point the altitude is of some 2.850 mts. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Caracas.
Day 8. Caracas-Peninsula de Paria (BD).
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport, flight to Cumaná. Transfer to the selected Posada in Paria Peninsula. At this place, placidity of past times comes alive. This is the place where Christopher Columbus arrived, thinking that he was arriving to Paradise. Its long deserted beaches, surrounded by palms, the green vegetation all year long with a rain forest, give shelter for hundred birds. Is present the strength of the Orinoco River and its delta, which flows its water to the sea. In 1900 the region had a wave of Europeans immigrants that were seeking fortune in the cocoa plantations. Check in and departure to the excursion to discover Paria’s coast one of the most beautiful of Venezuela. At the end of the day, return to the Posada overnight.
Day 9. Visit the Cacao Hacienda in Paria (BD).
Breakfast. Day to visit a Cacao Ranch where we will learn about the cocoa production. The walk to the farm tour includes the planting of cocoa and chocolate processing explanation. You will have the chance to sample products manufactured using this fruit. The tour continues to the ranch "Healthy Water", a beautiful ranch nestled in the Savannas Venturini where you can enjoy the hot springs, mud baths and walk (optional) riding on the farm. Return to Villas Playa de Uva, dinner and overnight at Camp. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10. Cumaná-Choroni (B).
Breakfast. Transfer to the Airport to take your flight to Caracas. Transfer to Choroní, near the seashore.
Day 11. Chuao Village (B).
Breakfast. Excursion to Chuao. In the central Venezuelan coast, Chuao is one of the most picturesque villages and most renown thanks to the famous cocoa produced there. This small village is reached only by seas. The genetic characteristics of the bean and the particular care given in the local handling during its growth and recollection, originate the very distinct quality for which the bean is so well-known. Chuao's cocoa is one of the world’s finest and most appreciated by large international Chocolatiers, which used to prepare the most delicious desserts. On the way from the beach to the village, you can see the harvest of this precious fruit. Return to your Posada in Choroni, overnight.
Day 12. Choroni-Caracas (B).
Breakfast. Departure to Caracas. In the road cross the Henti Pittier National Park in the middle of the dimmed forests you will enjoy the spectacular gigantic trees. Overnight in Caracas Littoral.
Day 13. Caracas (B).
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take your international flight.
